March 27, 2022

Hopefully everyone enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break. The weather took a while to get nice, but hopefully you were all able to relax and spend quality time with family and friends. Here is what you need to know for the upcoming week.

New Information To Share

Mask Guidelines For K-12 Schools: As was announced prior to Spring Break, masks will no longer be required in the school setting for staff and students. We will continue to be respectful of people’s personal choice to wear a mask and will create an environment where those who wish to continue wearing a mask will be allowed to. As always, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Davids if you have any questions.

Jump Rope For Heart Kick Off: This week will be our kick off for Jump Rope For Heart! We will be doing all on-line donations this year and will not be sending home the envelopes. Students have the opportunity to win prizes by having family and friends donate. You can click here for all the information as well as the link to go and donate. Our Jump Rope For Heart Event Week will be April 19th – 22nd.

Art Starts Performance: We the shift in COVID 19 Grade K-12 Guidelines, we are able to have our first school assembly in a long time. We are excited to have 3 Crow Productions in for their performance of “How The Raven Stole The Sun.” This will be a great learning opportunity for our students as well as a chance to build school community and spirit.

Walking and Wheeling To School: As we enter the warmer months, we will have more and more students walking and wheeling to school. This is a good time to remind everyone of the expectation to use the sidewalks and crosswalks at all times. Also, please dismount your bike/scooter once you reach the school property. We also ask that parents who are driving to please continue following our safety rules in the parking lot as well as the pick up/drop off area.

Information From Last Week

Student Rapid Antigen Tests: As we mentioned last week, tests can be picked up during your student inclusive conference from the teacher. If you have not yet picked it up, you can get it from your child’s classroom teacher before or after school.
